As at 2018, Hong Kong’s FinTech scene is absolutely thriving. This continuing development is due to a number of factors, including: government support towards players within the ecosystem, increasing investment within Hong Kong FinTech which has now more than doubled over the past 12 months and consumer awareness continuing to rise with over 1 in 4 Hong Kong consumers aware of FinTech providers within the country, increasing to 1 in 2 of consumers when prompted.
